SOUTHERN STYLE NOW Festival

The 2016 Southern Style Now festival (May 18-22) will be a celebration of design, marked by keynotes, panel discussions, cocktail and dinner parties, exhibitions, and a showhouse.  The debut of a major annual design event, the 2016 festival will be the first of its kind in the South—offering incomparable networking opportunities, while helping one of America’s most beloved cities regain its footing as a global design capital. The festival is open to the public, as well as to design industry professionals.  So, head to New Orleans, and let the good times roll!

FESTIVAL ORGANIZERS

Robert Leleux (President) is the former editor of domino magazine, and the former managing editor of Lonny.  His essays and articles have appeared in such publications as The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, and The Huffington Post.  He is also the author of three books—The Memoirs of a Beautiful Boy, The Living End, and the forthcoming Southern Style Now (Abrams, September 2016).

KC Rodriguez (CFO) is a career entrepreneur.  She received her BA from Duke University and dual masters degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from New York University (with honors).  Recently, Ms. Rodriguez graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was awarded a one-year fellowship to work with medical leaders in the field of early childhood healthcare with distinction in neuro-developmental disorder.
