SOUTHERN STYLE NOW™ FESTIVAL
The Southern Style Now festival is a celebration of design, marked by keynotes, panel discussions, cocktail and dinner parties, exhibitons, and a showhouse. The 2017 festival offers incomparable networking opportunities, while celebrating Southern design in Savannah, one of America’s most beautiful and beloved cities. The festival is open to the public, as well as to design industry professionals.
Robert Leleux (President) is the former editor of domino magazine, and the former managing editor of Lonny. His essays and articles have appeared in such publications as The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, and The Huffington Post. He is also the author of three books—The Memoirs of a Beautiful Boy, The Living End, and the forthcoming Southern Style Now™ .
Ann Omvig Maine is a Midwestern girl who has fallen head over heels with the South. The former editor-in-chief of Traditional Home for 15 years, she also held senior positions at several other magazines and helped launch Country Home in the 1980s. During her tenure, Traditional Home was named to Advertising Age’s Magazine A-List and recognized by min as one of the Hottest Magazine Launches. She previously served on the board of directors for the Eureka Springs, Arkansas-based Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow, where she directed the creation of colony’s Culinary Writing Suite. She’s currently celebrating her #NextChapter, serving on the Advisory Council of the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication and supporting the design industry she loves.
Alton LaDay is the owner of Alton LaDay Media, a public relations and consulting agency offering a vast array of innovative and results-driven services for the creative industries. Known for his unique approach and proven cultural strategies, his portfolio includes Vicente Wolf Creative Conferences, Houston Design Center and Texas Design Week.
