SOUTHERN STYLE NOW™ FESTIVAL

The 2017 Southern Style Now™ festival (November 9-11) will be a celebration of design, marked by keynotes, panel discussions, cocktail and dinner parties, exhibitions, and a showhouse. The 2017 festival offers incomparable networking opportunities, while celebrating Southern design in Savannah, one of America’s most beautiful and beloved cities. The festival is open to the public, as well as to design industry professionals.

FESTIVAL ORGANIZERS

Robert Leleux (President) is the former editor of domino magazine, and the former managing editor of Lonny. His essays and articles have appeared in such publications as The New York TimesThe New York Times Magazine, and The Huffington Post. He is also the author of three books—The Memoirs of a Beautiful BoyThe Living End, and the forthcoming Southern Style Now™ (Abrams, September 2016).

 

 

Christopher Rountree hails from New Zealand, where in addition to founding his own electronics business in the automotive industry, was a National Representative in both Triathlon and Track and Field. Six years ago, Chris moved to New York City to launch a boutique alcohol brand. While there, he qualified for the USA Triathlon Nationals, and was a member of the 2015 USA Rugby National Champions. Chris has also worked extensively in the non-profit community, and has travelled the world, throughout Africa, Europe, and Asia. He’s proud to call New Orleans his new home.
