Robert Leleux (President) is the former editor of domino magazine, and the former managing editor of Lonny. His essays and articles have appeared in such publications as The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, and The Huffington Post. He is also the author of three books—The Memoirs of a Beautiful Boy, The Living End, and the forthcoming Southern Style Now™ .
Courtney Coleman and Bill Brockschmidt bring to their work a focus on traditional detailing, proportion, materials, and craftsmanship in both architectural elements and in furnishings. Whether designing a stylish library in a Park Avenue duplex or ticking slipcovers for a New Orleans home, the two emphasize appropriateness and clarity in their work and bring a modern sensibility to historical references.
Since forming their partnership in 2001, they have designed projects in locations ranging from New York City and the Northeast to Florida, Texas, Virginia, Delaware, Bermuda,
Sicily, and the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. Their work has been featured in Traditional Home, Veranda,Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Quest, Period Homes, The Classicist, The New York Observer,and on HGTV. Additionally, since 2012 they have been included in Elle Decor’sannual A-List of top interior designers.
Courtney received her degree in architecture from Mississippi State University, and worked as an architect with the New York firm Ferguson & Shamamian, then as a designer with David Easton, Inc. Following his architectural degrees at University of Virginia and the University of Illinois at Chicago, Bill worked fo Delaware, Bermuda,r several years as an architect in the office of Eric J. Smith in New York. Courtney serves on the board of The Decorators Club, and Bill and Courtney are both named Fellows Emeritus of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art in recognition for their many years of organizing public lectures and travel programs.
